Rat island Rowing and Sculling Club is a 501©(3) nonprofit organization and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Restoration – What makes our club unique is the successful rescue of classic wooden racing shells. Boats that were doomed to adorn the ceilings of sports bars are back to racing and winning! But despite the tireless efforts and skill of our volunteers – supplies, parts and professional assistance cost plenty!
Equipment – Fittings, oars, safety gear, outboard motors on our launches, boat trailers. Everything breaks down eventually and has to be replaced.
Scholarship – Rowing should be accessible to everyone. Our scholarship program helps those with a burning desire and strong commitment to rowing but who need financial help.
Coaching – How can something that looks so simple and effortless require so much understanding of all the moving parts? That’s called a good coach.
General – The benefits of your donation to improving the quality of life for so many are innumerable. Our Mission statement tries to incorporate some of those benefits
Thank you from all of us here at Rat Island Rowing and Sculling Club!
